Swimming School Policies
Booking & Payments
• All lessons are booked and paid for in advance to secure your child’s place.
• Spaces are limited and small to ensure individual attention and safety.
• Payments are non-refundable, except in very rare and exceptional circumstances (see section 6).

Cancellations & Missed Sessions
• If your child, or you, miss a class for any reason (illness, holidays, appointments, tiredness, travel, etc.), the session cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
• No catch-up lessons are offered, as this affects class size, lesson progress and safety.
• If Donna needs to cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, the lesson will either be rescheduled or credited.

Baby & Parent Classes
• A responsible adult (18+) must be in the water with their child at all times.
• You are responsible for your child’s safety, comfort, and supervision both in the pool and around the facility.
• Please follow all teacher guidance and pool safety rules.

Preschool Independent Classes
• Parents or guardians must remain on site for the entire lesson.
• You may be asked to assist privately if a child needs comfort, toilet support, or a confidence break.
• Gentle encouragement is appreciated — never pressure.

Safety & Health
• A Medical & Consent Form must be completed before lessons begin.
• Children must not attend if they have had sickness or diarrhoea within the last 48 hours, or have any contagious illness.
• Swim nappies must be worn by any child not yet fully toilet-confident.
• No running, pushing or unsafe behaviour in any area of the property.

Refunds
Refunds are not available except in very rare, exceptional circumstances, such as:
• Long-term medical situations confirmed by a GP or specialist
• Permanent closure where replacement lessons are not possible
Each situation will be considered kindly and individually.​
Photography & Privacy
• Photography is not permitted unless written consent is given.
• Photos must only include your own child.
• Personal data is stored securely and used only for lesson administration, safety, and communication in line with GDPR.

Poolside Etiquette
• Please arrive ready for a calm, happy start.
• Long hair tied back; jewellery removed where possible.
• Snacks, drinks (other than water), and glass containers are not permitted in pool areas.

By enrolling in lessons, you confirm that you:
